| Alright everyone, this is my interpretation of the complete story of
Coheed And Cambria. I'm gonna break in down album by album, song by
song, starting with the backround.
BACKROUND, CHARACTERS, PLACES, THINGS :
Heaven's Fence : The triangular part of the Keywork, composed of 78 planets and divided into 12 sectors.
The Keywork : A glorious beam of energy that gave life to Heaven's Fence.
Stars Of Sirius : The seven stars that fuel the Keywork.
The Mages : God gave them the order to rule over Man, but power drove them power hungry. Wilhelm Ryan became Supreme Tri Mage.
The Prise : God created them to keep the Mages in check and protect the Keywork and protect the Humans.
Professor Hohenberger : The creator of Coheed, Cambria and Jesse.
Coheed
Killgannon : One of the three IRO-Bot's created by Hohenberger. His
part of the trio is the Beast. He is married to Cambria and has four
chrildren, Matthew, Maria, Josephine and Claudio.
Cambria Killgannon : One of the three IRO-Bot's created by Hohenberger. Part of the trio is the Knowledge.
Jesse "The Prize Fighter Inferno" Killgannon : The last of the IRO-Bots. His part is the Inferno.
Claudio
Killgannon : Only living son of Coheed And Cambria. Nephew of Jesse,
has strange powers that are discovered later on in the story.
Supreme Tri Mage Wilhelm Ryan : The Trimage of the Galaxy. Evil person sets the destruction of Coheed and Cambria.
Mayo Detinwolf : Wilhelm's captain. An assassin who oversees the destruction of Coheed and Cambria.
Matthew and Maria Killgannon : Twins of Coheed and Cambria.
Josephine Killgannon : The second eldest child of Coheed and Cambria.
The Writer : The man who writes the complete story.
Erica Court : The writer's girlfriend.
Ten
Speed : The writer's subconsience who tells him what to do. (Think of
Son of Sam, the mass murderer who killed because his neighbor's dog
told him to)
Ambellina : A prise who is sent to watch after Claudio.
Newo Ikkin : Claudio's girlfriend, watches over Apollo.
Apollo : Claudio's dog. Has strange powers that play a key role later.
Mariah Antillarea : The only good mage. Believed to be the Messiah and is prophecized to overthrow Wilhelm.
Chase : An IRO-Bot who was created by Hohenberger. A grown woman trapped in a four year old's body, with incredible powers.
Patrick McCormik - Josephine's boyfriend.
The Grail Arbor : Claudios ship.
Al : A assassin who is a flaring racist.
IRO-Bots : Created by Hohenberger, all are made to transform into something else when their time has come.
The Vishual : The star that fuels the Keywork is fueled by.
The Second Stage Turbine Blade
Prelude
: In the beginning, God created the Keywork, Heaven's Fence, The Prise,
The Mages, And Humans. Before the CD starts things have already
happened. The story starts with Coheed standing in the doorway of a
room, with Chase on the ground. He tells Chase to stay there until he
finished what he had to. When he comes back Chase cries "You didn't
have to kill him!" and he says " I didn't kill it, it was never alive.
You must understand; there is no room for mistake in our family" Chase
is then silent, and Coheed walks out the door saying "There is work to
be done..."
The Second Stage Turbine Blade - Coheed is leaving
work and he is stopped by Mayo. Mayo tells him that he and Cambria have
what is called the Monstar virus. A deadly virus that can be activated
by Jesse whenever he wants to for the apocolypse to occur. Luckily, the
Monstar virus can be removed, however he passed a different disease
down to his chrildren. The Sinstar Virus was passed to Claudio,
Josephine, Matthew and Maria. This virus can't be contained. Mayo then
tells him that he has until the clock reads 21:13 fo r Coheed to kill
his chrildren, or he and the Red Army will. He also tells him that at
02:00 the next day, a car will be waiting outside his home to transfer
Coheed and Cambria to Paris Earth, where the virus will be removed.
Coheed then returns home.
Time Consumer - Coheed approachs
Cambria to tell her what needs to be done to the chrildren, but she
already knew. Coheed prepares the poison for Matthew and Maria and
heads upstairs to play with them for one last time. He enters their
room and they say "Heh heh! Shabutie!" he then gives them the poison.
They play for one final time and the last thing the twins hear are
"Maria my star, Matthew goodnight..." and they then die. Claudio has
left to go out with his new girlfriend Newo already, before this has
happened, and neither Coheed nor Cambria know where Josephine is.
Devil
In Jersey City - Josephine and Patrick are out on a date in his car in
an abandoned warehouse. Josephine says "Patrick, I don't feel safe
here..." but he reassures her that nothing will happen. As they are
kissing a fist smashes through the car window and Patrick is beaten and
thrown to the ground. The culprits are a gang called the Jersey City
Devils. They also grab Josephine and rape her. Patrick wakes up
eventully after they have left and Josephine says "Take me home
Patrick." He says "Josie, I'm sorry it's my fault --" But she cuts him
off and again says "Take me home." he then shouts "You bastards!!!!!"
and again she says "Take. Me. Home." the scene then changes from them
to Claudio and Newo. They are kissing and Claudio suddenly realizes
what time it is. His clock reads 1:16 AM and he begins to worry. He
remembers that Coheed and Cambria told him he has to be home at 1
o'clock and no later. He the starts to leave Newo, but Patrick and
Josephine arrive home first.
Everything Evil - Josephine
enters the house she goes to the sink and throws up. Then she sees
Cambria, runs to her embraces her and beings to cry. She then begins to
say "I'm sorry" but Cambria shushes her and they continue to hug. She
sees Coheed and says "Daddy...I'm sorry..." but behind his back he held
a hammer, and he says "It's okay...come here Josie" she walks to him
and he covers his face and swings, hitting her with the hammer which
kills her. At this time, Patrick enters to see what has happened, and
runs out screaming "Holy Shit!". Coheed says "I don't think I can do
that again..." and Cambria responds by looking outside and seeing a car
pull up, she then says "I don't think you'll have too...." Mayo and the
Red Army enter their home, and try to capture Coheed And Cambria. They
resist and the Red Army opens fire on them. Coheed pulls blades out of
his arms which kill many and Mayo tells him "You are the anti-Christ
Killgannon!" They are taken away in the car and a little later Claudio
comes home and Newo says "Goddammit! We'll make it if you believe..."
Delirium
Trigger - Coheed is alone up in a tower somewhere on Paris Earth, and
he can't find Cambria. Mayo enters the room along with Wilhelm Ryan,
who begin to torture Coheed. Coheed then thinks "What if I die here
alone...or maybe not the only one there" He then starts to provoke
Wilhelm and Mayo telling them "Come on, kill me." Coheed is then
killed, but before he dies Wilhelm says "Come know me in another light,
come know me as God."
Hearshot Kid Disaster - Claudio comes to
find that everyone is gone at his home, and he finds the bodies of
Matthew, Maria and Josephine. He then begins to search for Coheed and
Cambria, hoping that they would have some explanation to what was going
on. The chorus of the song, "I need Mayo" is Wilhelm saying that he
needs Mayo's help because Mariah has been starting to attack the tower.
33 - Claudio still can't find his parents, so he begins to
question Patrick. Patrick tells him that he saw Coheed kill Josephine,
and Claudio doesn't cope well with the news. He buys a gun, and plans
to kill himself.
Junesong Provision - Claudio is home and
loads the gun to kill himself. He writes a letter to Newo saying "Dear
Newo Ikkin, how's Apollo been treating you? Has he been a good boy
since I left? Give him my love, and a sweet kiss for his head, cause I
won't be coming home when you get this, I'll be dead." Claudio starts
to lay down and he falls asleep with the gun to his head.
Neverender
- Cambria escapes from her position in the tower and begins to try to
find a way out. Wilhelm realizes this and Cambria dies in a battle
against him. Then Jesse comes to the home and finds Claudio asleep with
a gun to his head. He says "Point your gun in another direction, now
that you've cried yourself to sleep"
God Send Conspirator -
Mariah confronts Wilhelm and trys to fight him, but dies in battle
against him. All hope is lost, because Mariah was supposed to be the
Messiah, but she is dead. A new messiah will come though...
I,
Robot - A look back on when Coheed and Cambria were created. Hohenber
is killed in this song, because it takes place in the past.
Album
Recap - Coheed and Cambria die, along with Matthew, Maria, Josephine,
and Mariah. A new messiah will come and Claudio is still sleeping.
In Keeping Secrets Of Silent Earth : 3
The
Ring In Return - Claudio is still asleep and he has a dream that he
calls Newo, and Apollo answers the phone. He says "Hello Apollo, where
should I begin?"
In Keeping Secrets Of Silent Earth : 3 -
Claudio dreams of a large battle scene with him and Jesse fighting
against Mayo and the Red Army. Mayo tells them to "Man their own
jackhammers" which are a laser gun that can shoot down ships, such as
the Grail Arbor. Silent Earth 3 has a secret though, and that is that
Coheed is still alive on a remote colony.
Cuts Marked In The
March Of Men - Claudio then sees an invasion of Jesse along with his
chrildren. He asks "Are you ready on my mark?" Jesse confronts Mayo
while his chrildren transfrom into their true forms. Mayo fights Jesse
and he is killed by Mayo.
Three Evils (Embodied In Love And
Shadow) - Mayo and Wilhelm are talking about what they must do because
Claudio was left alive. They say they must "Severe the limbs off his
torso in sleep, and burn what remains" The screech at the end of this
song is the Prise Amberlina getting her wings burned off. Claudio
awakes to this shriek.
The Crowing - Jesse and Claudio travel to
Paris Earth where they are stopped by a Prise named Ambellina. She was
sent by the other Prise to watch over Claudio because he is the
Crowing. She explains to him that he is the one who will destroy the
keywork and overthrow Wilhelm.
Blood Red Summer - Claudio and
Jesse are walking on Paris Earth when Claudio tells Jesse of his
dreams. He tells him how he sees Jesse dying in the future and Jesse is
scared. He says "What did I do to deserve this?" And Claudio makes him
promise not to tell his secrets.
The Velorium Camper I : Faint
Of Hearts - A bounty hunter by the name of Al is hired by Mayo to
kidnap Newo. They think if they have Newo then Claudio will come and
they can finish him off. Al takes Newo and messes around with her, then
rapes her. He congradulates her for being so well behaved, but then he
gets feelings that he thought he never had, compassion. Hence the lyric
"As the ground starts parting through the silence as you woke up the
dead" The dead being his emotions of compassion. He feels sorry for
Newo and says goonight.
The Velorium Camer II : Backend of
Forever - This is a conversation between Claudio and Al. Claudio
questions if he took Newo and he says "Where and when, would I see
her?" he then asks if she is dead and he responds by saying "Where and
when, would I kill her?" Al continues to say "As crazy as it may seem I
cried for you when you told me to date all of the things that made you
end up in my life" This is referring to him crying over all that
Claudio had been through. Claudio decides not to save Newo and says
"Well this isn't love, so forever let it go, forever let it burn"
The
Velorium Camper III : Al The Killer - Al has gone on an emotional
rampage over the new feelings and that Claudio decided to give up Newo.
He thinks that if he kills her than he can have her with him. Sometime
in between the two songs Claudio decides to save her. He comes back
with Jesse and says "Let this colony know, in the name of the dead,
we're coming" They break in and Al contimplats suicide. Al then takes
them to the Favor House Atlantic.
A Favor House Atlantic - Al
leads them to the Favor House where Mayo and Wilhelm are waiting along
with a sniper to shoot out Claudio. They leave and Al is killed by Mayo
and Wilhelm.
The Light And The Glass - This is a conversation
between Jesse and Claudio. Jesse tells Claudio that his parents are
dead, but he accuses him of lying. He tells them all about Wilhelm Ryan
and how Claudio is the Crowing, no matter what he chooses to believe.
Album
Recap - Claudio sees Jesse's death in the future and a new character is
introduced, Ambellina. Claudio discovers that he is the Crowing and
will be the one to save everyone.
Good Apollo, I'm Burning Star IV : Volume One : From Fear Through The Eyes Of Madness
Prelude
to the Album - Plot twist! The story is being written by a Writer who
is much like Claudio. He is plauged by violent nightmares.
Keeping The Blade - A mixture of the two intro tracks. Alone they mean nothing, but when they come together they signal the end.
Always And Never - The writer has started to go insane, he wants to love his girlfrined Erica, but he also wants to kill her.
Welcome
Home - The writer goes over to his fridge and sees himself outside with
Erica and she is on a chain and she's saying "Please don't do this! It
isn't like you!" he responds "How the fuck would you know? When did you
ever take the time to know me? Get in the ground!" He then pushes her
into the grave and says "Welcome home...so come on bitch, why aren't
you laughing now?"
Ten Speed (of God's Blood And Burial) - The
writer goes outside to get his Ten Speed bicycle but his neighbor had
stolen it. He goes to get his bike back and then he heres a voice, and
he wonders who it is, and looks over and sees his bike. It tells him
that he must kill off Ambellina because she represents Erica, and once
he kills Amberlina, he can forget about Erica. The spoken part in the
song is this "Ten Speed : So are you going to kill her off? Writer :
No, I love her character, she stays. Ten Speed : The only thing love's
done is put you in this position, I say kill her off. Writer : You say
a lot of things, and hows that work? You're a bike."
Crossing
The Frame - The Writer and Ten Speed are outside of a house and Ten
Speed shows him a scene that he has written in the story.
Apollo
I : The Writing Writer - This is the battle that Claudio foresaw in In
Keeping Secrets Mayo is manning the Jackhammers and they shoot down the
Grail Arbor. They are now on the ground and Claudio and Amberlina get
seperated from Jesse and his chrildren. Jesse tells his chrildren
"There is no room for mistakes my chrildren, for as I have been told,
today is the day I die. I'm sorry I never played the role as your
father...and from the looks on your faces, it seems its all you ever
asked of me. I'm sorry..." Chase and the other chrildren transform into
their true IRO-bot form and take out much of the Red Army. Jesse begins
to fight Mayo and Mayo rips out Jesse's heart and he falls to the
ground dead.
Once Upon Your Dead Body - Ten Speed and the
Writer are talking about why the Writer needs to kill Ambellina. He
makes him relive when Erica cheated on him and he walked in on her
having sex with another man. He makes the Writer remember why he left
her, and remember what she did.
Wake Up - This is a refernece to
how both Claudio and The Writer have terrible deeply troubling dreams.
The only way for the writer to wake up is if he stabs a screwdriver
through his hand. Claudio is having dreams that the souls of the
Keywork are telling him to free them.
The Suffering - The writer starts to remember the happy times of him and Erica.
Lying
Lies And Dirty Secrets Of Miss Erica Court - This again is Ten Speed
trying to make the Writer relive when she was cheating on him. The
Writer says "Enough you fucker!" the bike responds "Fuck-her? Yeah he
did!"
Mother May I? - After talking to someone, I think this is
about Coheed And Cambria getting it on one last time before they died.
They sent the chrildren outside and then you know...
The Willing
Wells - In these songs the world of the writer and the world that the
story is being written in collide and the two worlds become one.
The
Willing Well I : Fuel For The Feeding End - The Writer arrives in the
world and starts to look for Amberlina so he can kill her and forget
about Erica. The Writer says "If she won't give me the love I came here
for, Then with pen I am armed to react" She being Ambellina. Chase
tells Claudio "Your body to blood, as your parents once went, you will
follow their lead one by one, every step." Claudio is not convinced
that he is the Crowing, and the song ends with him saying "I will not
save your world"
The Willing Well II : From Fear Through The
Eyes Of Madness - In this song Claudio and Amberlina are ambushed by a
Priest and Claudio begins to show powers. The spoken part (Run Little
Rabbit) is Apollo talking and telling Claudio that he has to leave
before death finds him and Ambellina.
*NOTE* in the story, the events in the Final Cut, happen before the events in Apollo II
The
Willing Well IV : The Final Cut - The writer is taken by the souls of
the Keywork in his dream to the Guillotine with wings and he is placed
in the blade. He sees Erica's head above hea dn she says " This is no
beginning, this is the final cut" at that, the blade goes down and it
hits the Writer. He does not die though, he realizes what he must do.
The
Willing Well III: Apollo II:The Telling Truth - After the blade hitting
the Writer he realizes that he must kill Amberlina. He comes to find
Claudio and Ambellina and Claudio begins to kill the priest and the
Writer belows "Leave it, Crowing! Leave it!" The writer approaches him
and Claudio trys to fight him, but his powers are usless. He approaches
Amberlina and stabs her through the chest. Amberlina says "Dear
Claudio, I know not much of love...it is not in my make, but if I
could've ...I would've loved you." After that she dies, and the Writer
begins to leave. Claudio says "Where are you going? We're not finished
here!" The writer responds with "Yes, we are. I've done what I set out
to do. You feel it now, don't you? You are more ready as your parents
were more than ready. Look to Star IV, listen to the Vishual. She will
know what to do. Your time has come Crowing, You're Burning Star IV."
Epiloge
: This is just my opinion but I think that Coheed is NOT dead and alive
on Silent Earth and he will be coming back in Good Apollo Volume II and
the album with a V in it. Also I think that Jesse may not be truly
dead, I mean he's the Prize Fighter Inferno, and Mayo just kinda killed
him, suspicious. Considering the lyric in Apollo I ( The song where he
dies) it says "I must fake your death to grace the face of my
character" so yeah. I'll keep making edits if I find anything new, so
just stay tuned. | | |
